Access Accomodations That Meet Your Need to Feel at Home

Would your on-campus living experience meet your needs better if something could be adjusted to accommodate a documented disability? If so, please connect with Student Disability Services prior to room selection to confirm/update your needs.

While University Housing does not make determinations for your requests, we do aim to pair you with housing options that meet your needs once we receive the approved accommodations from Student Disability Services.

What’s Next?

You should proceed with housing processes (roommate and room selection) until you are notified that your request has been granted. Submitting the form does not automatically warrant approval. Student Disability Services will review your request and provide their determination at their earliest opportunity. Once a request is approved, Student Disability Services will forward the granted accommodation letter to our office.

Please note the following for Housing Accommodation Forms received by Student Disability Services after the housing deadlines:

  • While we will review your accommodations, due to availability they may not be implemented in the same semester or academic year. For this reason, we encourage you to submit your accommodation request as early as possible prior to housing deadlines.

  • If we do not have available options that meet granted accommodations, you have the option to be added to a waiting list for an option that does meet the requested accommodations or be exempt from living on campus.

  • All applicable housing fees are nonrefundable.
